FAQs

How much should I spend? How do I figure out how much to spend?

Some experts suggest spending between 15%-20% of the home’s value on landscaping – an investment that brings both value and long-term satisfaction to your life. If you’re unsure, you can always schedule a consultation with one of our landscape architects to get a better idea of what it will take to see your vision become a reality.

How do I decide what I want?

Our team of highly-educated and experienced design professionals will work with you to develop a landscape befitting you and your tastes, down to the finest detail. You can get started by filling out our landscape wish list. It might be helpful to browse magazines for ideas that appeal to you and drive around your neighborhood and take photos of yards you like. What is a plot plan? Where do I find it? Do I need to measure?

A plot plan is a diagram of your lot and how your house and other structures sit on it. You probably received one when you closed on your house, or you can get one from your city or county offices. Our team can also create a plot plan and perform any necessary measuring.
