When
budgeting for a landscape, hardscape and outdoor room type projects, you should
figure 5% to as much as 20% of the value of your home as a starting point.
Other features such as swimming pools will probably push you over that limit.
Expect immediate returns on your investment in home values as properly designed
outdoor spaces are features home buyers want and use throughout the year.
